What are the best materials for durable bathtubs?

I walked into a bathroom showroom two days ago trying to understand the best materials for durable bathtubs because I wanted long life I wanted comfort I wanted easy maintenance. The options looked amazing but I still felt unsure because every material had different feel and price and I could not see real long term performance. I could not decide confidently important dots material choice decides durability and comfort.

Then I started comparing materials one by one. They explained that acrylic is one of the most common bathtub materials because it is lightweight affordable and easy to maintain. It also keeps heat reasonably well and does not chip easily if good quality is used. Then I saw fiberglass which is cheaper but less durable and can crack or fade over time so it is usually used in budget bathrooms.

After that I checked cast iron tubs and they felt very strong and heavy. These are extremely durable and can last decades but they are expensive and need strong floor support because of their weight. Then I saw stone resin tubs which looked premium and solid. They are highly resistant to scratches and stains and also retain heat very well making them popular in modern luxury bathrooms.

I also checked online reviews and many users said acrylic is best for everyday homes while stone resin gives the best mix of durability and luxury. I is not suer which material is perfect for every bathroom but most people choose based on budget and maintenance comfort.

Now I am thinking the best bathtub material depends on lifestyle and budget What would you choose for your bathroom acrylic lightweight tub or stone resin luxury bathtub?
