Hi everyone. I’m a senior in undergrad and didn’t do one assignment worth 10% of my grade. I genuinely do not know why I didn’t do it because I am usually a straight A student. I was just feeling so overwhelmed in the beginning of the semester with taking 5 classes, in a research lab, TA’ing and also being a president of a club.
I want to express to her that this is not being used as an excuse but more so to give perspective. I also feel so disrespectful asking to complete an assignment from 4 months ago. I respect my professor a lot and really don’t want to ask because of that, however the chance to redo it would land me a 4.0 this semester. I understand it’s completely my fault and am just feeling really disappointed in myself.
Looking for advice on how to reach out via email given our final papers are due next week and we will not meet in person again this semester.
