My sister (20F) posted in a Facebook moms group that she was looking for nannying jobs this summer. A political commentator posted screenshots of her post on social media with the caption: “Playing with fire hiring these nannies fr fr.”

The screenshots included my sister’s full name, hometown, and the college she attends. The photo used was also taken when she was still a minor. The post currently has around 700,000 views.

After making the original post, the commentator also reposted a reply from another user that said: “Can I hire one of these? I don’t have children.” That repost is still up.

Since all of this was posted, my sister has been receiving sexual harassment messages from random men on Instagram and Facebook, including messages asking to buy her underwear. People have also commented similar things on her original nanny post in the moms group.

We have already messaged the commentator on Twitter/X asking her to remove the posts, but have not gotten a response.

Is there any legal action that can be taken here regarding harassment, doxxing, or reposting her information/photo in a way that led to targeted harassment?
