Should I get the after 2pm WDW ticket for our adult family?

My partner (26 M) and I (23 F) live in Florida and have annual passes to Disney world. We are having my partners siblings come down from Boston in June for a 5 day 4 night Orlando/Disney trip.

My partner and I paid for a beautiful Airbnb for all of us with a pool. Really we are all just looking forward to being together and enjoying time away from work.

I have done all of the planning since I am familiar with the Orlando and Disney area. I want to keep the theme park prices below 290 per person. We are all young adults trying to make a living.

I saw the after 2pm Disney ticket and thought it would be a great idea. We could go to two Disney parks on two separate days (probably magic kingdom and Epcot)
Without paying over the 290 budget (it would cost about 370 to go to both parks for full days)

I’m seeing however, many people really don’t like the after 2 pm ticket and think it is a ripoff. I want to make this family vacation easy for my partners family members(they don’t know anything about Disney like how many parks there are and lightning lane and bla bla… so I don’t want to bore them with all that info)

Pros to 2 pm ticket
-we get to sleep in,use Airbnb pool, eat brunch
-his family will still get to see fireworks and parades and watch shows
-I don’t even think his family would WANT to do the whole “rope drop” thing anyway(they haven’t gotten a vacation in so long)
-the Florida sun will go away faster and we will have more energy for both days

Cons?
-are the rides really going to be super long in summer? And does getting the 2pm ticket affect this?
-will it feel like we barely got time in the park?

We aren’t planning on getting lightning lane because it’s just too much money. I thing getting 2 pm is a good idea to see both parks on a budget but will we regret it? Feel like we didn’t get to see anything?

Thank you for any suggestions
