Ankidroid Will Not Sync
I uploaded changes from Anki desktop to AnkiWeb successfully. Now I am trying to sync AnkiWeb to AnkiDroid on my Samsung phone.
Problem:
When I press sync in AnkiDroid, it says “select collection to keep,” but the area where the options should appear is completely blank. Normally I would get options to choose either:
- keep AnkiDroid collection
- keep AnkiWeb collection
but now there are no selectable options at all.
Things I already tried:
- uninstalled/reinstalled AnkiDroid multiple times
- restarted phone
- logged out/back into AnkiWeb
- chose not to keep app data during uninstall
- cleared cache/data
- still getting the same blank sync screen
- AnkiDroid does not pull from AnkiWeb after reinstall
- “one-way sync” - Nothing changed
- retsoring from earlier backups when there was no issue
- importing the desired deck from Anki desktop app (.apkg)
Has anyone seen this blank “select collection to keep” screen before, and how can I safely force AnkiDroid to download from AnkiWeb instead of uploading from the phone?
