Who looks after you as an HR person?

I work in HR and have done for around 25 years. I have a random question, but this is something I can't stop thinking about and then reading random content on. I spend my days carrying loads of stuff I don't even really realise. Like other people’s conflict, stress, wellbeing, then all the bad decisions. All the horrible stuff sometimes like exits, performance issues and the worst for me, griveances and complaints. Then I see that actually, no one asks, are you okay or how's things been? I have been lucky to work across different businesses and have different levels of support - both from my boss or peers. I feel that as HR we are pretty much expected to be calm, balanced, emotionally intelligent and ALWAYS professional. I know and maybe some of you might resonate here, that some days I feel mentally exhausted, really flipping cynical and sometimes done in and actually there are so few places to turn to. Does anyone else feel like that and what or who do you turn to? I am based in the UK, but hgave worked in global companies also, especially across the US and Asutralia.
