I got out shortly after Covid so my separation process was a PAIN and I didn't file right as I separated as I should have. I'm a bit stupid, I know that now. My family as well as my buddy who also served has been on my case to file for years now so I finally filed my initial file 20FEB26, but I'm already at step 5 as of 26APR26 and I'm worried that I'm going to get denied for everything I have because I didn't report it to medical like crazy as everyone said I should when I was in. For context; I'm former Navy and my ship's IDC was previously an FMF corpsman so he thought us ship sailors were a bunch of sissies and never saw us for anything because he thought we were all trying to get LIMDU or SIQ. Granted, some may have been, but I don't work like that. I went to him for my back pain at least 6 times but the most he did was give me motrin and told me to piss off. He even turned me away when I got hit on the head and blacked out during our ammo onload and told me to come back in the morning. That being said I'm not sure if he put anything in my record, and he kept turning me away so I stopped going to him. I saw doctors later after I got out for some of these things, but it was all well after I got out, even tho most of the issues stemmed from my time in. I'll list what I claimed below, but I guess what I'm getting at here is this stuff all happened while I was in, but there probably isn't any documentation of 90% it, is there a chance I'll get rated at all? Or did I drop a $1500 for nothing (I worked with Vetclaims.ai and paid upfront) Thanks for your time!

Claims:

Tinnitus (New)- during C&P doctor said hearing is in normal range even tho I constantly hear ringing

Anxiety Disorder (New)- on medication and see therapist

Sleep Apnea (New)- severe requiring cpap

Traumatic Brain Injury (tbi) (New)- had umbilical cable (big bulky SOB) for SM2 dropped on my head

Headaches (Secondary)

Hypertension (Secondary)- might actually be in my record because I got delayed for my PCS to my ship from C-school from it

Gerd (Secondary)

IBS (Secondary)

Lumbar Strain (New)

Right Shoulder Strain (dominant) (New)

Bilateral Lower Extremity Radiculopathy (New)

Bilateral Hip Strain (New)

Bilateral Knee Strain (New)

Dermatitis (New)- Technically started a month after I got out but I get a full body rash thats constantly itchy and causes my hands and feet to swell up. Im on medication for it but it doesn't stop it 100%. Went to and allergist and did the allergen test and nothing came of that. I mentioned to the people helping me file that I was exposed to hazmat and our drinking water somehow got contaminated with fuel but the allergist and I don't know what else could have caused it.
