After Cuba became communist the USA was trying to make sure no other country in the Americas would fall to communism but it didn’t last long until the Ussr invaded Brazil for an excuse that Brazil was having an imperial revolution. While Brazil was having an imperial revolution the Ussr really wanted to make Brazil socialist. On the 3rd day of the invasion (August 19th 1966) The ussr have up their land (except soviet guyana which you can see on the map) for the socialist republic of Brazil and on August 22nd The empire of Brazil declared independence and invaded The republic of Brazil same with the socialist republic of Brazil. The US sent troops with the republic of brazil and the ussr sent troops with the socialist republic of Brazil (No one supported The empire of Brazil). The empire had most of the economic power of Brazil which gave it many more troops then the other fractions. While the republic and the US did do a small campaign in the north the empire and the socialist republic did many large campaigns against the republic.
