Experience with back leg braces

Experience with back leg braces

My old boy, Virgil is 11 now. He's in great health for his age. His only issue is that his back legs are really weak (no joint problems). I was wondering if anyone has tried leg braces to give a bit of extra support for an issue like that? If you did, did it help?

How much rent can I realistically afford

My job is being transferred to Spain, so I will be moving there around October time this year. I will be working remotely, and am planning to move to somewhere fairly rural in Asturias. I've just found out that my salary will be €43906 a year (before tax), plus €50 a month (after tax) towards home working.

I was wondering how much rent I can realistically afford on that salary after taxes? It's just me and my two dogs, so I don't need a huge place or anything.

Hognose needs surgery - worried about potential for respiratory infection

I found a lump on my hognos, just above the tail recently. Just got back from the vet (experienced exotics specialist), who did an ultrasound on it. They're not sure if it's an abscess or something else. It has blood vessels though, so it's more likely a tumour. So she's having surgery next Thursday so check it out, and if possible remove it (if it's her kidney or removing it will affect the function of her cloaca then she will probably need to be put to sleep, so fingers crossed it's not either of those). If it is something that can be removed, my concern is the likelihood of a respiratory infection. Has anyone else's hognose needed surgery? How well did they recover? Did they get a respiratory infection from it?

Using a 'move to spain' agency to find a place to rent

I'm moving to Spain later this year for work, aiming for anytime from September onwards. I already have a remote job, which will be transferred to the Spanish part of the company when I move. I'm moving from the UK, but I'm an EU national.

My biggest worry for the move is finding a place to rent, as I have two large dogs. I have seen a couple of agencies advertising on insta that offer services to help people move to Spain, including help with finding somewhere to rent. I'm planning to look in Asturias, Galicia, and along the Pyrenees (I'm more a mountain than a beach person). Has anyone else used one of these agencies? Are they worth it? Which one is best?
