Writing is one of the most important weapon of a writer and there's different perspectives a writer can use to strengthen their plot delivery. Choosing the POV in which one will deliver their story is as important as thinking of the story plot.

But that's not the point I want to raise, it's not just about choosing between 1st person, 3rd Limited or deep 3rd perspective; I just want to know what others thinks about what makes a great writing. It's not even about the prose and tightening, it's about how the writing is simply delivered.

So just what exactly is being shown that makes the book stands out, is the question.

Side question: what do you as a reader prefer to read? Limited 3rd or Deep 3rd, maybe even 1st, and why?

It would also be great to have recommendations of great books
