if you had to fill out the arsenals of each faction in universe what would you make?

I really like worldbuilding and homebrewing and having just gotten into the fan made Gear TTRPG I got the urge to make weapons for each of the factions in universe. sort of just to fill out the gaps in each factions arsenal with their own unique varient plus I feel like it would be fun. as well I think it would be intereasted other peoples ideas for what would be cool weapons.

for the sort of weapons roles I'm working with, along with examples, they are.

- Main battle rifle (Lancer, Hammerburst, Markza Mk1)

- Shotgun (Gnasher)

- Sniper (Longshot, GZR8 Markza, Breechshot)

- Explosive (Boomshot, Booshka)

- Side arm (Snub, Boltok, Gorgan)

- Melee (Cleaver)

there are more but these are just the clear examples, some ideas I had were a full double barrel shot gun for the locust, the COG having a heavy rocket launcher. this is more a thought experiment for fun rather then a "what they should add to the game" discussion.

Has there been a Primaris captain in an established chapter who was formally a grey shield?

I'm well aware that there are Primaris captains now and any marines after their introduction is really only physically differant to first born rather then culturally like the initial primaris. But of those initial primaris who were grey shields, have any risen to the rank of captain in an establish chapter, say like Raptors or even a founding chapter like the ultramarines?

it would make sense why chapters would be hesitent given many, even more open chapter, were wary of them as they lacked the teachings and identity of their new chapters. But at the same time I imagine over time as they intergrate into their new chapters some will prove themselves and take up the positons right?

This question is probably has a simple answer somewhere but I just don't know where to look.
