I’m kind of stuck with this and running out of ideas.

I have a Minecraft Paper server running on AMP inside an Ubuntu VM on a Proxmox box. I’ve been using Playit.gg for external access and it’s been working fine up until now.

I recently moved the Proxmox machine to another room, plugged everything back in, and now the Playit tunnel just doesn’t seem to actually reach the server anymore.

What’s weird is:

- The Minecraft server itself is definitely running (I can join locally on LAN)

- AMP is fine and I can manage it

- I can still access the machine via Tailscale

- Playit agent shows online

- Playit tunnel shows online

- But when I try to connect using the Playit address I just get: “Failed to connect to server: connection timed out (getsockopt)”

I’ve already tried:

- Recreating the Playit agent

- Deleting and remaking the tunnel

- Fully uninstalling and reinstalling Playit

- Reconfiguring AMP

- Even rolling back to a known working VM snapshot (still broken)

One thing I noticed is the Minecraft server in AMP seems to be using the Tailscale IP as the primary endpoint under conection info, which I don’t remember if that was happening before.

Am not sure what really changed other than restarting stuff since it was plugged back into the same ethernet port.

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix/debug this it would be greatly appreciated.
