Firm forms partnership with MSO. What does that mean?

As the title says our firm has told us they have partnered with an MSO (Managed Service Organization) we’re being told nothing is changing on the legal side but they gave this brief announcement and left us high and dry after with so many questions right before the holiday weekend. I was highly disappointed they rushed through it just to avoid the conversation and didn’t really bother to come up with and provide answers to some basic questions that might have put people at ease. Everybody is freaking out. I’m just trying to understand what that really means for us and maybe have some people tell me about where experience with it or things I should be asking or should be on the look out for.

The only thing they mentioned was our paychecks would be under the new company and mentioned benefits being taken over and could be better (it’s not that great now to be honest…) and some stuff would go through this other place but that they still own the firm 100 percent and nothing on the legal side would change. They assured us nobody would be hired or fired other than through the direct firm but how long will that really last.

Is this the sign to get out now?
