How does charge of crime other than the US affect you?

I'm a Korean and my parents happened to move back to Korea without knowing them moving back to Korea would trigger my military obligation.

They moved back to take care of my grandma who is turning 90 soon and suffering alone. Parents had to simply move out of Korea within 6 months from the date they moved back. They were undocumented in the US for so long and they have no where to go. We tried to appeal at the hearing that they couldn't move cause they stayed in the US undocumented too long, and It's not an easy matter to simply move back to Korea holding DACA in the US.

Unfortunately, Korea military administration will have to cancel my passport and press charge on me in the near future. I heard it investigation for the charge is going to be paused since I'm in the US but investigation will start as soon as I step in Korea.

Fortunately, I got my renewal past month. I know DACA renewal doesn't require valid passport but I renewed my passport just in case until 2035 but will be cancelled. If we get to renew DACA in next 2 years, there is a question for renewal application " have you arrested/charged/convicted crime in other countries?" I would need to answer "yes" am I right?
