Hey everyone,

I’m a first-year apprentice with Local 157 and I’m trying to get to work as soon as possible. I was wondering what the best ways are to land a job quickly as a first-year.

Are there any specific job sites, contractor lists, or places I should be checking regularly? Also, is it better to just start calling companies directly or showing up in person?

Any advice or tips would really help just trying to get my foot in the door and start gaining experience. Thanks in advance.
