Experience Timing for Applications

I am wanting to make sure I understand this correctly: when applications say they prefer 2 years of experience, does this mean you have 2 years from the time you submit the application or 2 years from the time you would start the program?

Hi! I will be relocating to Virginia this summer and am looking at RN residency programs! I need all the recommendations and where to stay far away from. Thank you!

hello! I am a new grad starting my nursing career. I am desperately trying to set myself up for becoming a CRNA. I have offers at an IMCU that is a 10 min drive from me and an ICU at a small community hospital (it is a branch of a main teaching hospital that’s closer to me so I can hopefully transfer soon) that is a 2 hour drive for me. Is it worth it to start at the small hospital for the ICU experience early on and transfer in a year to a Level 1 hospital? I am so torn because I want to start working towards my CCRN and be gaining ICU experience, but the drive is a killer. Any input is appreciated!
