I saw a video where someone was making vanilla paste.

I realized that I have never heard of vanilla paste until now.

I can think of many potential uses for it but I'm not sure what exactly you'd use it for.
I tried doing searches but all the results seem to be about how to make it or what brand to buy.

So I ask here: What are some good recipes that use Vanilla Paste and if I were to buy some instead of make it what brand do you suggest?

I also ask now that I'm thinking of it: The video I saw they used corn syrup and I'd like to know if that's a requirement for the recipe or if there are better alternatives.
