Used Fryer Oil in the Street Gutter
Long story short had a neighbor dump old cooking oil in the gutter during a rain storm while drunk. We can't go back in time and I'm not here for retribution. We're on good terms and hes offered his help cleaning it up. Hes a good guy, just made a bad call. BUT now my street stinks like a deep fryer. We've been using a Dawn mix then srub and spray. I then got some Simple Green concentrated degreaser, scrub, spray. Did another round, scrub, then power wash. It still smells, even if just little whiffs of it. My house smells with the windows open and it finally got nice out after a long winter. Worried it will get much worse when it actually warms up above 60F The concrete is still stained. I'm out of options to as what I can spray down a city drain and into the waterways. Any help and advice (to cleaning only) is welcomed and needed. Thank you
