Hey — looking for some real-world advice here.

I’m sailing on a Virgin Voyages Alaska itinerary that includes a stop in Canada, and I just realized (way later than I should have) that Canada has strict rules around DUIs.

I had a single DUI back in 2016, and based on my court records, everything was fully completed in December 2017. I didn’t think much of it since I’ve traveled internationally since then without any issues, but now I’m seeing that Canada treats this differently.

Has anyone with a similar situation been able to board ships without issues? Or has anyone actually been denied boarding because of a past DUI?

Thanks.
