Progress report 🫡 I love it more every day

Has anyone had a belly button like this? How did it heal? I’m having a hard time finding one similar. It looks more shallow in the pics than it is I think because of the darkness around it creating a shadow. So it is slightly deeper than it appears. Will that bump that is currently drying out in the middle go in? I am 8 weeks po. It’s been a long healing process for it. Currently letting it finally dry out so not looking for any healing tips just curious how others have healed.

First 2 pics are from a week and half ago. Last 2 pics from yesterday. What the h e double hockey sticks is that bump in my upper abdomen? I felt so lean before and now it’s like gone?

I sent the first 2 pics to my surgeon last night as a belly button update. I had been applying santyl for 4 weeks debriding it. They said I could now let it dry out. The 3rd pic is how it looks this morning. I’m assuming the yellow crusty bits are normal? I just want this thing to heal already.

Finally felt less swelling today so I tried on a bathing suit and I feel like I can finally see the vision. It’s hard to get even a glimpse of what results might be like through the swelling 🥲
