12 Gallon Long Compatibility
I have a 36” long 12 gallon tank that’s decently planted with some driftwood and a large pirate ship decor. My LFS said 3 peas would work, I have since joined this group and have obviously read that a shoal is needed of 6 or more.
So, in my current tank I have two kuhli loaches, two peas (one of the three died before I got home), two harlequin raspboras, and a few ghost shrimp. I am planning on returning the raspboras back to the LFS because they told me they would work in the tank, but I have noticed one little mean pea has started to nip at him.
My question is, is whether I am able to make 6 peas work in this tank. The two I have, have been hunting and eating the pest snails I have been giving them and eating the frozen food I have also been giving them.
