Hello!

Have any JETs recently used the education discount to buy Apple products in Japan? I saw mention in another subreddit that the policy had changed in the last few years and that students now have to go through Unidays (previously there weren’t any meaningful checks made), although that wouldn’t apply to ALTs as we qualify as teachers. If you did use it, were there any checks made on your status as a teacher? Was it easy to do?
