Going snorkeling for the first time tomorrow. I did get a rash guard shirt, but wasn’t sure if the pants were necessary? The store I went to they were $90 and I couldn’t find cheaper ones. Didn’t want to commit..The girl at the dive shop said she wears pants mostly for little jellyfish stings that tend to be near the surface.
Damn. I like it 😭😭 RIP. Even the refill pans I want are sold out now. What have I done!!!! Lol.
The first class I had for my OW cert was horrible. I panicked the whole time, struggled with all of the skills, and was just overall bad lol. I’m tempted to just quit or put in on pause for now to see if I’d just prefer snorkeling. The entire thing was just overwhelming. I know it was the first class so it’s probably normal. Did anyone else have a similar experience, but stuck with it?
Purchased a SX-70 model 2! I love her!! Can’t wait to play around with it!
Looking into getting a refurbished SX-70 Model 2. There’s an option to convert it so the camera can take 600 film. I can see this being worth it since 600 film is more readily available, a little cheaper, and is better with low light shots. However, I also kind of want to use the camera how it was intended.
*also want to note that I am no expert and am simply someone who has enjoyed shooting instant film for awhile for fun and enjoys playing and experimenting with different cameras
