Advice needed for Khula/Divorce
Hi, I'm a Bahraini woman seeking Khula/Divorce from my husband who's an expat. We do not have children.
Our marriage was done in sunni court and the marriage certificate is based in Bahrain.
I want to know what is the legal process of getting divorced here, do I require a lawyer or I can initiate the process myself? And what all is required for the court to approve of this decision of mine.
Keeping in consideration that all our efforts to reconcile has been unfruitful and we have decided to separate with dignity. I don't want to write here what he did or did not do for me to be seeking separation but I know I'll have to give a reason to the court and that can be done but before that I want to know the process.
