Is this black mold?
I lived in this house for 9 months and I noticed I had to clean the windows super often. We’re talking weekly wipe downs!?
I was renting this house from a friend of a friend. I hadn’t cleaned the windows for a bit and noticed it wasn’t just dirt looking specks, it was full on chunks!? (As pictured below, this is about 6 days after my last clean. My dog loved this window as you can tell.)
Someone else is buying this house so I’m wondering- is this black mold that’s coming back time and time again?!
They unfortunately didn’t get an inspection on the house, so I’d like to let them know.
I no longer live there, thankfully but doesn’t feel right not letting the new owner know ahead of time incase they dismiss it as I did.
I have never experienced anything like this, so I ignorantly didn’t think much of it until my husband pointed out that it looked like black mold. 😣
Please help me so I can help out the new owners! 😭
NEVER SKIP AN INSPECTION EVEN IF YOU’RE BUYING FROM SOMEONE YOU KNOW!!!!!
