PMOS (formerly PCOS) after surgery

hi all! i am 13wpo as of yesterday, and am feeling amazing!

this post is a big broad and vague on purpose with hopes that folks who had been diagnosed with PMOS (formerly PCOS) before your surgery feel encouraged to share how your body/levels changed post surgery. especially curious how anything shifted with blood sugar/insulin resistance, and liver function.

i just had my first blood panel since surgery yesterday (something my PCP and i do fairly regularly), and am meeting with her next week to go over the results. curious to hear others experiences, things to look out for, etc!

I’m just past 9wpo and getting pressure from my boss to return to work…I work in shipping & receiving doing product and supply intake, packing orders, inventory management, etc. and this is the start of our busy season. I haven’t gone back to work yet because of some vertigo that hasn’t gone away since surgery, some ongoing aches and pains, fatigue, and honestly I just simply don’t feel ready to be on my feet again 8+ hours a day carrying things, reaching, stretching, etc. My surgeon said I’m technically cleared to return at my pace. I’m wondering if I’m just emotionally anxious to get back into the swing of things, or if I truly am just not physically ready…

Does anyone on here have experience returning to a labor intensive job like this & have any advice?? I don’t say this to be rude at all, but I really don’t need/want to hear from folks who sit at desks and/or WFH - not because your recovery isn’t important, it because it just feels so different than what is expected of me at my work. Thank you ❤️‍🩹
