Uncertainty level MAX

I’m a Sudanese medical graduate/applicant, and honestly, I feel completely lost at this point.

I worked very hard over the past few years, got a decent Step 2 CK score, passed multiple other exams, completed internship, and invested a huge amount of money into this journey hoping I’d eventually secure a residency position somewhere.

But because of the current situation in Sudan, everything feels almost impossible now. Visa issues, restrictions, instability, lack of opportunities… it genuinely feels like we’re blocked from everywhere. Even when you do everything “right,” your nationality and circumstances become a barrier you can’t control.

At this stage, I honestly don’t want to spend more money on applications/exams without knowing if there’s even a realistic path forward. I already exhausted a lot financially and emotionally.

I’m posting here because I genuinely don’t know what my best next step is anymore.

If anyone has been in a similar situation, or knows realistic pathways for Sudanese/international applicants right now (UAE, UK, research, teaching positions, alternative pathways, etc.), I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance.

Thank you.
