Appreciate any advice for SQE1 Active Recall revision!!

Taking SQE1 first attempt in July and I’ve nearly finished going through all the content

I can’t work out what the best active recall revision approach is from this point onwards and it’s stressing me out so bad. I keep changing my approach every few days and I’m genuinely wasting my own time

Would you guys recommend mainly doing mixed MCQs now and using spaced repetition for the ones I get wrong or still going back over notes/topic content and then doing MCQs topic by topic?

I feel confident that if I just did mixed MCQs with spaced repetition that I’ll be okay, but at the same time I know that I should be prepared for everythinggggg and anything 🫣🫣 so I’m worried that I’ll forget the stuff that doesn’t come up on the practice MCQs.

For example, I revised contract first and there was a point where I could literally recognise the case law from the fact pattern of the MCQ but now it’s like it’s fuzzy in my brain and I’m worried the same is going to happen to other subjects unless I constantly go over my notes fully.

I’ve been averaging 68% on Devil’s Advocate mocks for FLK1 and 63% for FLK2. I think this is still okay considering there’s just under 2 months until the exam. But my problem is that I’m not applying my knowledge to the questions properly which explains why my scores aren’t higher. They should be much much higher for someone who’s nearly covered all subjects.

Also I don’t think I’m making the best use of my time, I am averaging about 1:18 per question which means I normally have like 38 mins to go over and review after completing answers. I use this time to review my flagged questions but then most of the questions I get wrong are the ones where I originally picked the correct answer and then changed it afterwards during the review because I doubted myself.

I planned on just asking a simple question and it’s turned into an essay lol I’d be sooo grateful for legit any advice you guys have, I really appreciate it!!

Also to anyone taking the July exams, GOOD LUCKKKK WE GOT THISS 🥰🥰🥰♥️♥️♥️

**TLDR - Advice on whether to stick with practice MCQs with spaced repetition for questions I get wrong, or do MCQs topic by topic after studying from my notes directly (**but problem is topic by topic doesn’t reflect Kaplan type questions)
