Judge’s rationale for denied early termination

I’m reading through cases on my local county’s court records website and found this in an order denying a motion for early term:

“The motion is denied. Rationale- The court heard the testimony- recognizes that the sentence imposed was fully negotiated and sees no reason to terminate early.”

With this rationale, early termination should not exist. All plea deals are fully negotiated, that’s the whole point. Despite this defendant having zero issues on a very restrictive kind of probation for *8 YEARS* it was denied just cause. This county is not a big fan of early termination it seems

Hello! I was sentenced to 4 years probation. However it seems my prosecutor forgot to include one of the “agreed upon” conditions of my probation in my paperwork- no early termination of probation. I spoke with the attorney I had for this case and they told me that was definitely one of the conditions we agreed upon with the State but it seems to be included nowhere in my sentence. They advised me I would need to hire a new lawyer because they wouldn’t file the motion if I chose to pursue such an action.

So my question is: would this even be worth it? It’s not part of my sentence clearly but would the fact that we made a verbal agreement during negotiations to no early termination severely decrease my chances of the judge granting my motion? Just trying to see if it would even be worth the money to attempt it.

Location: Florida

Thank you!
