Season Ruined

I'm posting this for solidarity because this is my first year starting seeds indoors and it has been mildly successful until... We got a new puppy and during his outside time he ate my transplants and dug up my bed. Plants gone. Heirloom tomatoes, peppers, asparagus, nasturtiums, some kind of squash, cucumber, and others. All gone. I'm deflated and will have to try again next year with starting early- any similar stories?

Edit: thanks for the comments and support! Unfortunately I've spent my garden funds for this year, so no nursery. I do have seeds that I'll try direct showing, though that rarely works lol.
