Appreciation Post - My husband flew his first solo today in a Cessna 172S!

He’s working toward his PPL as a hobby, and today was a big milestone. After he landed, ATC came over the radio to congratulate him on his first solo which is probably standard practice for everyone who does their first solo where we are from, but I could tell it made this day extra special. He was already buzzing with excitement, and that little moment of acknowledgment from ATC just topped it off. Just wanted to say a genuine thank you to ATC everywhere. The work you do to keep the skies safe and traffic moving doesn’t go unnoticed, even from the families watching from the ground.
