Rate my poetry! Feedback?
one letter would not be enough
one word would feel like a handcuff
one fragment would be far from plenty
one sentence wouldn’t have me empty
of all the things i’d like to say to you
of all the things that aren’t so new
of all the things that prove my feelings
of all the things giving me divine healings
one paragraph would never be vast
one page could never hope to last
one essay would not be significant
one short story would not be sufficient
to represent everything you’ve shown me
to represent everything you’ve set free
to represent everything i’ve learned from you
to represent everything you proved was true
one book would be finite
one trilogy wouldn’t be quite
one series would keep me restricted
one library wouldn’t prove i’m addicted
to the specific things you do
to the should inside of you
to the words you choose to say
and to the way you chose to stay
I was thinking about doing another stanza adding lines about maybe what would be enough?
