AI mark of the beast?
I've been wondering if soon AI, or an AI derivative will become the mark of the beast mentioned in the bible. When AI becomes advanced enough, it would integrate into almost everything including commerce. It would reach a point that if you don't use AI you wont be able to keep up with society, and business would become impractical to operate. you will not be able to buy and sell, get a job, have an opinion.
on the other hand, AI is a tool at the end of the day, like an overpowered calculator; doing math without a calculator is impossible for most.
the last piece to confirm this is when AI becomes tech-wear like a watch or eye glass?
''He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads''
this also implies that there will be a figure imposing the integration of this technology into the everyday lives of everyone, and will create a society that ostracizes people without it.
at this point this doesn't seem too far fetched in the coming decades
