Hey guys, so I was on Lexapro 5mg for a year and I quit it a month and a half ago because it was causing water retention plus holding me back from losing weight. The first month I lost almost 10 lbs without even trying but I’ve been a mental case since i got off so I decided to try Celexa 10mg since it’s a more mild form of Lexapro. I’m only on day two and I’m aware there’s a readjustment phase but I weighed myself this morning and went up 3lbs and I can feel the water retention. My body is extremely sensitive so I’m scared it’s not going to change and I’m gonna just be in the same exact place as before, is this going to get any better or should I just give up on trying it?
P.S. I have a trip to Costa Rica at the end of the month and I just don’t want to look bloated and puffy so it’s stressing me out but so is doing my first solo trip unmedicated lol
