I’m about 21 hours post op, and my surgeon successfully removed Barbara, the 23cm / 8lb fibroid! My uterus was the size of a 24wk pregnancy. It was an open myomectomy, and they had to do a vertical incision because it extended up my entire abdomen. I just stood up, and feeling pretty good, all things considered. I’m so hopeful!
