When you travel for races, do you care about hotel amenities?
Hey everyone. Im new to ultra running. Happy to be here. There's a lot of travel involved with some of these races, and thats arguable the best part - getting to see so many cool new places. But one thing I've noticed is that the hotels I've been staying at are kind of lacking in the amenities. Even the nicer chain ones (hiltons, marriots, etc) really lack anything for recovery (sauna, cold plunge). I'd love to see a hotel that provides at least some decent purified electrolyte water as a complimentary offer. So my question for the group, when you travel for races, do you care about the amenities the hotel has to offer?
