VM or No?

Hello all,

I’m in the middle of week two of what I believe to be the start of my chronic VM journey. One day I got an acute onset of vertigo and ever since then it’s been nonstop hell. I think it’s VM, but my symptoms differ from what others are describing in some ways.

I have a constant, literally never ending sensation of pressure in my head and a kind of buzzing. It feels like the moment after you get hit in the head but stretched out forever. I even feel it in my teeth.

I have sound and light sensitivity like you would expect.

I feel generally fatigued and everything feels more difficult.

I went to the ER and got a CT which was clean. Ironically, I work in ENT and my coworkers think I have BPPV causing these symptoms but Epley has accomplished little to nothing. I’m wondering if this is even VM as I don’t have vertigo symptoms all that much. It’s the god damn head pressure. I just can’t tolerate the thought of living like this forever. I spend all day crying to myself. Realistically, if this is VM like it seems, I need to steel myself for this never stopping or at least not for months, right? Has anyone had symptoms like this and one day it resolves, and life goes back to normal? I have no history of migraines and no one in my family does either.
