Frictional hair loss when bedbound

Since becoming bedbound I’ve noticed I’m getting frictional hair loss on my legs. My head thankfully is okay but I’m worried it’ll happen on my head too.

I’m curious to know have others experienced this from being bedbound, and if so is there anything that can prevent this?

I’ve just ordered a silk pillowcase in hope it may be better for my head, but would love any advice on what has helped others.

Thank you!!

certain fermentable foods mess me up so much, are we meant to avoid them or try get our bodies used to them?

my stomach seems to really react to certain foods especially lentils and chickpeas, i will get pretty intense bloating, wind, diarrhea and all sorts of stomach noises. i tried a new supplement the other day and realised it contained brewers yeast that messed me up a lot. and then ive tried a multi strain probiotic and that made my symptoms worse too.

thing is im fine with other fermentable foods, its mainly legumes, and then the probiotics and supplements which contained brewers yeast

i just seem to be going in circles, is this maybe just an individual sensitivity rather than something actually going on like SIBO?

if you read this thank you so much. would love to hear any similar experiences. thank you again 😊

Dental hygiene when bedbound

Hello, I’m bedbound and cannot brush my own teeth, my carer does it for me. Recently though my dentist has said I need to floss due to having a bit of gingivitis. I can’t floss myself as my arms are too weak, has anyone used a water flosser in bed or had their carer floss their teeth for them?

Thank you so much!
