This week the city council approved funds to start planning for converting Roxboro and Mangum from paired one-way streets to two two-way streets. It sounds like it will still take a few years for the studies and the actual construction and its possible it could still be blocked this seems like a huge win for those of us looking for safer streets.

As a parent who dreads my kids having to cross this road a big thank you to everyone who worked hard for this.
