The entire spriggan 12 arc made very little sense to me, after my second watch even more so, the plot armor is way to over the top, not a single good guy is killed, and it really just does not make sense that none of the spriggan 12 go full annihilation on fairy tail when they most certainly could have, and it just didn't happen. Brandish sort of had that backstory for her reason not to, it just seems to me that if they didn't plan on killing any core characters off, then there was no reason to make the enemy that powerful. And i can't even get started on acnologia, even if irene sent him miles away, why would he just walk back and not fly? And NOW he is selective of his targets instead of just wiping out the battlefield? Why lol
