Tips on having only powder foundation and not using liquid foundation

I've tried many brands of liquid foundation, but they all crease like crazy on my face. Mostly my under eyes, smile lines and near my eyes. For context, I'm 30, so I don't have wrinkles, and my skin is normally more on the oily side.

I'd love some tips on only using powder foundation instead of liquid. I tried it a few times, and my makeup didn't crease at all, which was awesome, but I want to look at applying it properly as well as good brands that have worked well for you.

I am very pale so it has to be a brand that sells very fair colours. I'm almost always the lightess shade of a brand, and sometimes even the lightess shade is still too dark, which is very frustrating when it comes to finding a new product.

And I'd love to know what are the best ways to apply powder foundation so it blends well and stays on well too 😊
