I was lucky enough to go to the Vatican City a couple weeks ago and was blown away by the cathedral there. These pictures were taken with my D3500 and either my 35mm / f1.8 or 70-300mm VR.

Hello!
I am primarily a wildlife and travel photographer. Lately, I have become a little frustrated and feel held back with my D3500 because it doesn't have a screw motor. I would LOVE to get my hands on a super-telephoto lens, but there are none which are compatible with my current setup. I do have the 70-300 VR lens, but that seems to be the practical limit since not even teleconverters will interface with my camera.
Therefore, I am making plans about an upgrade. On the one hand, the D7500 seems like a great all-around option with more options for second-hand purchases and cheaper lenses with the F-mount. Likewise, the Z50 II seems to be a really great size for travel and the mirrorless systems will be much more focused on by Nikon in the future, but it's all more expensive. The Nikkor Z 180-600 seems really amazing, but may be beyond my budget regardless.
What are your opinions on the best route to take?
