Please help, my plum tree broken
I’m not sure what caused it to break. It’s mostly snapped, but I can still keep it upright using the white fruit tag (I’m not sure what it’s called). If I remove it, though, it leans to the side and is only barely attached.
I was wondering—would taping it help? If not, could I replant the broken piece and possibly get it to root again?
It was a gift I bought for my mother for mother's day... i'm really sad. The base still has green buds (hard to see on the photos) so I know it will still grow into a plum tree... by I feel like we're taken a few years back now. 😔
