Occam's razor. I spoke to a smelly guy about his hygiene routine after presuming it medical. Incorrect. Worse than you could possibly imagine. But also was interesting to understand his apparatus for thinking about dirt and odour. A basic failure to understand a conception of a uniform purification, somehow that making exceptions wouldn't undo the whole process. Reusing socks or boxers could be cancelled out by clean clothing and a shower elsewhere. Clean clothing might cancel our not showering after the gym. Soiling as a concept not present. Sleeping in a bed after sweating in the gym, in gym clothing(!).

Truly diabolical stuff.
