Im now at almost 40 hours and im still having trouble with my landings. Sometimes I have the most beautiful landing possible. But then the others are all crap and its all coming down to the round out and flair, I do everything else great, my patterns are consistent, I stay good on altitude and airspeed, I stay on centerline, but as soon as it comes ready to round out and flair I loose it. Its either a slam or a really good landing. I want my instructor to actually feel confident that I can do it and I dont need him for all my landings but I cant even be confident in myself. Has anyone else been like this and if so what can I do to fix it?
