Hi everyone,

I’m currently in the French education system and I’m planning to apply to engineering programs in Canada, especially at the University of Toronto (U of T).

I was wondering if anyone who applied from the French system knows whether Canadian universities, and U of T Engineering in particular, look at the grades from the French Bac de Français (Première), both the written exam (écrit) and the oral exam (oral).

Are these grades considered in the admission process, or do they mainly focus on the final-year (Terminale) grades and science/math subjects?

If you’ve applied from the French system or know someone who has, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.
