24f, Hey guys posting again after some more back and forth between hospitals and need yalls opinions. I posted previously about the ongoing wait between tests with no answers. And I’m just coming on here again to kind of give an update. I got a call after meeting with a new surgeon I was sent to for an mri biopsy, that the radiologist would like to do another ultrasound. I’ve already had three of them. One was after the mri and failed to reproduce the mass. (Which is why I was sent for the mri biopsy in the first place) I said no I would rather not have another ultrasound I just want the biopsy at this point bc I’ve been dealing with this since January. They proceeded to tell me that this is what happens when you “bounce around hospitals” and that they have a better and different ultrasound machine that will be able to find this mass. Is this true? Are there actually different types of ultrasounds or is this a money grab or what. I called my original doctor and she said she’s never heard of such a thing and that she doesn’t know why they are putting me through all this again when all she asked them to do was this biopsy. What are you guys experiences with this if any?

25f: I’m at my wits end with the waiting. I’ve been having issues since January of this year. It a month between every test it seems. I had an ultrasound (due to bloody nipple discharge) that showed three masses one was biopsied and was benign. The results didn’t add up to the discharge so a month later I had an mri that found a lobular enhancing mass. Then a couple weeks after that I had to meet with a surgeon who sent me back to ultrasound weeks later to do another biopsy on the new mass but they can’t see this mass on the ultrasound so I now have to meet a new surgeon at a new hospital to have a consultation because my doctor doesn’t do mri guided biopsy’s. Then after that consultation they will schedule me for my mri biopsy which is scheduling at a least a month out. So I’m looking at June or July for results. Should I assume they don’t think it’s cancer since there is no rush or is this normal ?
