Getting my CNA 2 months before starting nursing school.

As the title says. I’m getting certified before starting nursing school in the fall. I’ve decided to do this since i was accepted into nursing school and I have NO IDEA what I’m in for. Anyways I have 2 weeks left before state exams and I’m happy I’m gaining this experience. Our class worked in the nursing home last week and my aid was so informative and helpful. She made the job fun. We helped residents get dressed, changed them and I even learned some of their stories. It was great. I’m really glad I chose to get this before starting.

Another reason for doing this is I wanted to get a new job that will allow me to have more freedom with my schedule. Right now I work retail and it feels like I work EVERY WEEKEND. When I start work can I pick my schedule? I want to do PRN when I start nursing school. How should I go about this? Any advice would help.
