Anyone made the switch from a manual wheelchair to a folding mobility scooter for outdoor use?

been thinking about this for a while now and curious what others experience has been. Managing indoors is fine but outdoor trips have become more challenging and I've been looking into whether a lightweight folding scooter would make day to day life easier.

Main things I'm trying to figure out are how practical the folding mechanism actually is for someone managing alone, whether the battery range holds up for proper day trips and how stable they feel on uneven surfaces like pavements and slight inclines.

Would love to hear from anyone who has made a similar switch or uses both depending on the situation. What made the biggest difference in your decision and what do you wish you had known before choosing?
