I'm using a 13-inch MacBook Air (M4) running macOS Tahoe 26.5.

Yesterday I've noticed a sudden increase in battery drain. Previously, my battery life was excellent, but today the battery dropped from about 80% to 20% in roughly 3 hours of normal use and I remember closing the lid at around 15% which drained to 8% overnight.

Battery Health shows Normal, and I haven't changed my workflow recently.

My typical usage includes:

• Arc Browser (daily for the last 6 months)
• Antigravity IDE (using AI to code)
• Figma app
• Multiple browser tabs

I haven't experienced this issue before, even with the same apps and workload.

Things I've checked so far:

• Battery Health: Normal
• No obvious apps consuming excessive power in the Battery settings
• macOS version: Tahoe 26.5

Has anyone experienced similar battery drain on an M4 MacBook Air running Tahoe 26.5?

Are there any logs, Activity Monitor metrics, or battery diagnostics I should check to identify the cause?
